Skagit Alpine Club will once again be offering Basic Mountaineering Course! The webpage for the course is now live. Important dates:
Dec 1st: Scholarships open (next week!)
Jan 5th: Registration opens to Skagit residents
Jan 7th: Info session (in person and online)
Jan 13th: Registration opens to all
I know that there's a wealth of experience on this forum, and for most people here this is an easy pass. But hopefully there's some aspirational lurkers that this will help 😅 If yall have friends that are interested in getting started mountaineering, please point them this way. Also, if anybody is interested in mentoring and helping others get started and wants to participate in that way, please let me know.
