Hi - looking for any help with basics - I will be in Seattle mid August with option for several days of hiking in general area. Thinking about going to both Mt Rainier area and Mt St Helens area with rental car. Primary interest is day hikes from 3 - 10 miles non-technical with meadows and Summits if possible. Would like to find lodges or hotels with good hikes starting on property and within short dives of property. Any recommendations for lodging, trails, forum threads or books would be greatly appreciated. thanks
