  1. Does anybody have the G12 extender bars, or even the normal length? I'll pay you for them and get you a brand new set. I need them for a trip I'm leaving for on Tuesday, and can't find them anywhere except online and they won't get here in time. I'll have a brand new set shipped straight to you. And, you get to help a fellow climber out Send me a message. Thanks!
  2. Interested in checking out Hood and see what the conditions are? Send me a message. I'm thinking of an alpine start early Wednesday morning. Something easy, probably just start from Timberline and do a basic route.
  3. Hey, I'm down in Portland and have the weekend free. Up for a quick run up Hood? Read some TR's and south side looks in good shape. With an alpine start should be pretty easy. I could start early saturday or Sunday... I've been climbing for a few years now. Done winter ascents of two 14er's in CO, Mount St Helens; summer ascent of Rainier, some climbing in the Chugach range in AK; doing Denali this summer. Interested? Get back to me asap. Thanks! 4. Hey! I'm new to the area and need a climbing partner. I mostly enjoy snow and glacier climbing though I'm not opposed to learning more on rock. I'd label myself a technically intermediate climber. I've summited Rainier and done a couple winter ascents of 14ers in Colorado. Recently returned from Alaska where I took an intermediate course and did some more glacier work. Someone about the same level would be great. We can still learn together, but can also rely on each other to know what's going on. Email me if you think we might work well together. Thanks! chris.m.talcott@gmail.com
  5. Hello, I'd be interested in talking and seeing if we can make something work. I have summited Rainier via the classic route. The problem you're going to run into now is that it is late in the season and the best climbing conditions are past. Now you're getting into sloppy travel which can make it more dangerous. Feel free to email me though, and we can talk. Thanks
