Nighttime, hard snow, no crampons, ice axe sheered through snow. He slid a few hundred feet in the upper part of the cascadian couloir route into some talus. Helicopter rescue. Damage to limbs, but stable, no head or spine injuries. Did y'all make it out alright Kenny?

I have a pair of new style (orange) BD vipers that have one season of use on them. The picks are freshly sharpened and have lots of life left. I also have a pair of Grivel X-monsters that have seen light use over the years. I would like to trade both pairs for a pair of Petzl Nomics. Let me know if you're interested!
