[Hiking partner(s) or group for Mt Hood 7/11 or 12]

I'm planning (hoping) on hiking/climbing Mt Hood south side either the night of 7/11 (preferred) or 7/12. Would be nice to get into a group that has the snow cat reserved but that's not required. I'd prefer not to do it alone (but maybe there's plenty of people out there anyhow???). I'm coming in from SC on business that week and have never been in that area. However, I have experience hiking the majority of Colorado's 14er's so hoping that will be good preparation. Let me know if you're interested.

[Mt. Hood South Side Monday, July 1]

Did you make it up on the 1st? I'm coming in next week from SC, hoping to do the same route as you on either Thurs night 7/11 or Fri 7/12. I'm in the same boat - really prefer not to do it alone. I have lots of experience on what I would call "technical hikes", having done most of Colorado's 14ers. However, from what I read you can do Hood without ropes and harness. Are you interested?

[Climbing partners July 5th-14th, and beyond]
