Okay so I have a lot of equipment that I am thinking about selling not really sure if I am intrested in piecing it out. Most of it has never been used and the stuff that has been used was used on rainier once. Hello all my name is Allen I am looking for a partner to climb danali in 2014. Must have high altitude experience and cold weather camping. I am AIARE 1 cert and pretty experienced. I may have worded that wrong I can wait alittle till prime climbing season is in swing. I just returned from a trip jan 6th a winter expedition seminar. It was more like a tourist attraction there was like 13 others on the trip all of witch were at least in there forties and most likely going through a mid life crises. I was amazed that out of everyone NO ONE besides myself and the guides knew how to tie in to a rope. Not a vary good experience, my five year old daughter is more educated in the mountains then these guys were, so I'm looking for someone that has a good bit of experience on rainier and maby I could make a donation do some new equipment .

Hello my name is Allen I am from the St. Louis area I just flew back home from a winter asscent of rainier witch due to weather and route conditions we were unable to summit. I am enclosing my email address maby we could climb together since we live so close. I have another climbing partner and we are always looking for a third. We intend to do the grand traverse this year in June and next December early January we will be heading to ecadour to bag a few peeks there. Hope to here from you soon.

Thanks for the insight, I was aware that the climbing season for Rainer is not in December however with the line of work I am in I only can take off to climb in the winter months. What would you recommend for winter months to get some experience.

I'm looking for a partner to climb Rainer in mid December. I have been class five rock climbing for about five years and want to get into alpine climbing. I have all gear required. I would like to meet someone that dosnt mind passing along alittle knowledge and tecniques. I have a winter asscent booked with rmi in January but from what everyone tells me it's better to just find a partner and learn that way.
