Jim Perkins

I'm selling a black, medium, 800-fill down jacket from Eastern Mountain Sports for $40. It's about 10 years old, but is in absolutely excellent condition. It looks brand new. I've rarely worn this jacket except for in base camp and occasionally for belay. I received a Patagonia down sweater for Christmas and I'd like to get this jacket to a good home since it still has many more years of use. I bought it while I worked at EMS, so money isn't the issue. I just want this jacket to get used rather than sit in my closet.

I'm moving to Tacoma in a week and I don't know anyone in the area that climbs, so I'm reaching out and trying to find some new partners. I'm 28 and I'm open to just about anything: rock, ice, mixed, mountaineering, and any sort of racing (running, biking, AR). If you've got a weekend trip coming up, let me know.
