  1. This past spring, NWAlpine did a limited run of their Salopettes (bibs) in Neoshell fabric. I was lucky enough to buy a pair in size small, but unfortunately the fit is not too great on me. Since this was a one-off production run, I'm not returning the pants but offering them up here. They are brand new with tags. These are basically the same bibs as the regular NWAlpine Salopettes...but even better due to the use of Neoshell. I have a jacket in this fabric and it really is about as good as hyped. The pants are black and they would fit a 29-ish and smaller waist well I think. $200 shipped OBO.
  2. Bump. Willing to consider best offers

  4. I'm selling a pair of La Sportiva Python climbing shoes in size 40 that are just that bit too small for me. They're in almost new shape: I've used them a handful (<5) of times indoors. They are excellent performance shoes, a slipper/velcro hybrid.
  5. Brand new Western Mountaineering Apache MF sleeping bag: regular length, right zip, very conservatively rated to 15F/-10C. Weighs only 907g. I have one and love it; I use it all year, even mid-winter. Intended this one for my wife but she ended up going for an even warmer bag. I'm in Vancouver, BC but willing to ship it. $400 shipped (a bit more if the shipping cost is over $20 but don't expect it to be).
  6. I'm still relatively new to the area--although I moved here last season, for various reasons, I spent the winter skiing rather than climbing. I want this winter to be different, with a much higher climb:ski ratio and I want to start fixing this early. If the long-term forecast pans out (admittedly a big if) and we get a significant cool off at the end of the week, it seems that with all the warm wet weather up to now, there should be potential for some good early season ice to form. The question is, where? I'd be very grateful for any suggestions of areas in SW BC or the North Cascades (relatively close to Vancouver) that are known for good early season conditions and might be in around this weekend or early next week. My thoughts are potentially areas around Cache Creek, something on the Duffey...? but with my very limited knowledge of the local tendencies I'm just stabbing in the dark really.
  7. I'm selling a brand new women's Westcomb Cruiser LT jacket in size medium (still with tags); my wife also recently scored a proto Neoshell jacket so doesn't need this anymore. Looking for $260 obo. Here is the link to my Craigslist ad: http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/spo/2705806653.html I'm up in Vancouver, Canada but I'm sure we can work out shipping or drop off/pick up somehow if you're in the US.
