  1. Planning on heading down to Smith Rock for a couple of days of climbing. Looking for some fun and chill partners to climb with. I'll be driving down from the Seattle area and happy to carpool with folks near here or near PDX. I'm 28, female, leading low 5.10s, but happy to follow harder routes. I'm an attentive lead belayor and have caught many lead falls.
  2. I'm looking for climbing partners. Fun, motivated, safe folks looking to climb on the regular. I'd be down to do an exit 38 trip once or twice a week MID-week and can probably skip out of town early afternoon or evening depending on the day. Weekends I'd rather go a bit further...leavenworth, squamish, gold bar, vantage, etc. Interested in all kinds of climbing, but I don't lead trad. Happy to follow though! Let me know if you're interested!.
  3. it is indeed. thanks
  4. I found a nice camera while doing this enchantments traverse this weekend. Looks like someone just sat it down and walked away. Oops. If it's yours and you can id the make, model, and whereabouts you may have left it. I'd be happy to get it back to you.
  5. I'm interested as well. I have Friday, 8/19 off already and my climb for that day fell through. I'd be down to do it in a single day push or maybe head up after work Thursday night and summit Friday or more relaxed Friday-Saturday trip. Really don't want to take more than 2-days to do it. Alternatively, I'd be down to go 9/16-18. I have glacier experience and know how to setup a z-pulley system. Prefer to go with a 3-person rope team, but would consider going with 1 other person if really experienced. Send me a PM if either of those dates work for you!
  6. easy going 26 year old female seeking mountaineering partners for some summer climbs. i'd really like to climb mount rainier this summer via one of the standard routes - DC or emmons. i'm somewhat flexible on dates and would like to take 2 or 3 days (preferably weekend) to do it. i can do most weekends mid-july and late-august. i'd also be interested in climbing shuksan, the sisters in OR, glacier peak, and more. i completed a basic mountaineering course last summer, have my own gear and transportation. i'm up on my knots, crevasse rescue, and basic glacier skills. i've successfully summitted mt. olympus/blue glacier, mt. baker/coleman glacier, mount st. helens, and the north twin sister. i've also done a far amount of hiking and backpacking around washington state. i'm in good shape but enjoy an easy/relax steady pace and would rather not charge up the mountain. i'd like to climb with people with at least as much experience as i have, but preferably more. shoot me an email if you're interested. thanks!
