So I finally got my hands on a pair of Nomics and I wanted to get some opinions regarding the pick weights before I head out on the ice.
When do you guys use them? Do you like them?
Thanks in advance!
So i've decided to make a little wall in my backyard to train for climbing. however, i don't want to damage the holds i buy with my tools. Can anyone recommend a solution? I was thinking about using eyebolts. The wall will be at around 40 degrees so tools skating off could be an issue.
Cheers!
Kerr
Verizon gets coverage on about 90% of the mountain. AT&T blows. If you walk out to the point (near the drainage) you get service, if you face horse camp, standing to the right of it gets you service, all the way up climbers gully, and the little clearing in front of the ranger hut at helen.
Hey everyone!
I am hoping to go through Yosemite on my way back home. I really don't have enough rock protection to do any aid climbing but would still like to do some sort of big wall.
Could anyone recommend something? I am pretty unfamiliar with the valley and didn't really see anything on mountain project that caught my eye.
10+ pitches of around 5.7 would be awesome!
Thanks a million,
Kerr
Not yet. I'm not 100% sure I have the job and didn't want to be too assuming. One of the other potentials and i talked briefly about it though so i am kind of getting on it to find out our possibilities.
Hey everyone!
There is a possibility I will be working for Shasta Mountain Guides this coming summer. I have looked around a little and have only found apartments for rent and i will not be in town enough to need a full apartment. I was wondering if anyone knew of someone looking to rent out a room. I am really not looking for much. Really just a place to throw a futon down, leave a few art supplies and take a shower.
Thank you in advance for any help or advice!
