  1. Has anybody used the Marmot Trient jacket. I was thinking of getting it as a belay jacket, but I'm not sure if it is helmet compatible or not. If it isn't what would be a good alternative that has a helmet compatible hood?
  2. Hey guys, I am faced with an extremely unusual situations this weekend... I don't have to work!! so I really want to go climb Baker. Unfortunately I don't have a whole lot of big mountain experience and all of my normal climbing buddies are out of town or working. so if any one is out there that would like to go climb baker this weekend give me a call at (425) 387-8027. I have saturday-monday off but saturday morning i'm doing some wedding photography for a friend so it would have to be a late start on saturday
  3. I lost my Olympus micro tough camera this weekend. The only problem is I don't quit know where. On saturday Feb 20 I was Up at Mt. Baker and I was using the camera right up to the point when I got to my car at the white salmon lodge. So If I had lost it there then It would have been in the parking lot. I called baker and nothing has been turned in yet. On Sunday Feb 21 I went up to Squamish to do some climbing. I not even sure if I had that camera with me this day because I had my digital slr with me. But if it was left at squamish it would have been in the smokebluffs area around clean start or pixies corner. The camera is a small point and shoot Olymus Micro tough. The front of the camera is white. It's water proof up to 3 meters so it should still be good even if it has rained. If you find it please let me know Cheers Rik
  4. What you do is talk about it. When you climb carry a tibetan flag with you or patch it to your pack. When people ask about it you tell them the story of tibetan oppression. Hopefully they will relay the story to a bunch of people they know. the most important thing is to get people passionate about helping the tibetans!
