I contacted a couple of gyms and they suggested that in this forum there would be lots of people trying to get rid of old rope. I will post a pic or 2 of my work in a bit.

I'm working on a project where I take old climbing rope and recycle it into welcome mats and 3D sculptures. If anyone has any old climbing rope that is in OK shape but no longer good for climbing, I'd love to get hold of it. If it's in the Seattle, Bellevue and Renton area I can come pick it up.
