  1. Alps and Peru. Climbing around. I`m usually climbing in an R1 and small windshirt when needed. Hardshell only comes out when absolutely needed. Layers in summer alpine: R1, Windshirt, Nano Puff Vest, Hardshell, Atom LT It works for me. Just needing to replace my Hardshell and these 2 at such a nice price certainly are desirable. I also have an affinity for Patagonia. I don`t need the burliest jacket, been known to switch out to a simple guide jacket on the rougher stuff. M10 seems like a better fit into my system me thinks.
  2. I can score either of these for under $200 with the lovely holiday sales starting on the 26th. I know I could buy both but I dont need or want 2 more hardshells. I want to replace my Westcomb Specter LT. I`m leaning towards the m10 mainly because of its weight. Not that a few oz is not that big of a deal but do leave the hardshell in the pack most of the time while climbing. Any opinions on going for the newer and burlier super alpine jacket or the M10. Both are brand new, and the store only has 1 of each in my size (med).
