  1. Hey guys I'm selling a bunch of stuff that I don't use enough. I'm about to leave on a trip to Uganda and need to free up some cash. Check out what I got. Much of this gear is lightly used (1-2x) which is why I decided to sell it - don't use it enough.

  2. Any ideas for this weekend... I want to get out this saturday and I'm trying to think of any fun climbs this weather of year. Anything incorporating some bits of WI2-3+ or mixed or some kind of sketchy scramble, steep snow gully, snow/ice face. Open to suggestions. The problem is the warm temps, I'd rather not be climbing in the rain, snow okay. Within 2.5 hrs of Seattle would be ideal.

    Thanks for the help,

    Andrew

  3. For sale small Arc'Teryx Theta AR. Gore-tex proshell. Maybe two years old, good condition(still has perfect dwr on some parts of jacket).I have taken great care of it. I'm 5'11" 145lb, normally would wear a medium in most jackets.

La Sportiva Trango GTX. Size 42.

Edit:$290(bundled) Note: I am not selling these two items individually.

Jacket retails for 475 or some such and boots for 290. Which is $755 at retail.

If anyone thinks this is not a good deal, please let me know. I'm trying to get rid of gear that I don't use often enough to justify it sitting in my closet...even if its red and really pretty.

  4. 1.La Sportiva Trango GTX light mountaineering boots. Size 42 really good condition. These things are awesome! I wear a 41.5 thogh so I really don't need this second pair. I was thinking to use them as winter boots with extra socks but I ponied up and got some insulated boots for climbing ice and winter shenanagins. $150 Retails $290. Again, size 42.

    2. North Face Mammatus jacket. Brand new with tag. TNF's top of the line Gore-Tex Proshell jacket. It's actually a proprietary slightly stretchy version of Gore-Tex. Designed for alpine climbing. Windskirt etc.. $400. Retails $549. Black, Size M.

If you want pictures let me know, otherwise the manufacturers websites will do a fine job of indoctrinating you with subconscious tendencies for Gore-Tex®, Lorica® and, Antiacqua™ / Vibram®.

p.s. I also have an exped downmat 7 regular length in really good condition. I have two different lengths and don't really need both lengths. $70 seem like a fair deal? Retails for $150.

  5. The Cobras seem to stick a little better than the Vipers. The carbon fiber seems to dampen the blow and transfer more energy to the pick. At least thats what it feels like when you swing. Definitely more weight in the head with the cf. If money is an issue I would say that $100 really isn't worth it. But if you want to go deluxe... The Cobras are reeaally nice.
