I left the weird small, black poles that hold my bivy sack up off my face at Peggy's Pond (on the route to Mt. Daniels) this morning. There should be 7 of them.
Anyone interested in climbing Eldorado this weekend? I was thinking of leaving Sat. afternoon, hiking up a bit, bivying, and then doing the climb on Sunday.
Atomic Rt-80 telemark skis with Voile Switchback bindings mounted (great for backcounty). Length is 178. Barely used (they were demo skis at the Marmot Store last year). Brand new the skis cost $450 and the bindings cost $260.
I bought these at the Marmot store earlier this year because they were selling last year's demo skis for a great deal. Then a few weeks later a friend of mine got new skis and wanted to sell his old BD Havoc's which are a better match for what I like to ski (better in crud and powder, less good on steeps and for quick turns). I don't need both so I'm selling the RT-80's.
Skis are in great shape and were tuned up by the Marmot store before I bought them. I never skied on them.
