Just remember one thing there are "old" but never "bold" climbers / skiers around. Case in point Alex Lowe, Craig Kelly, Doug Coombs and the list goes on and on. It is part of the risk that we all know about and the flat landers don't get it. For some, there big risk in life is crossing the street without a cross walk.

My last ski buddy of many years has become a sled head. I'm looking for others who have the drawing to the backcountry. I've been skiing the area for many years with the last 8 being primarily focused on the bowl west of the ski area.

Just wanted to let you know I'm starting a new backcountry ski guide service in the area around Mt. Baker. Nice day trips with lots of freshies. Priced the same as a lift ticket, my goal is to introduce people to the backcountry and hopefully start them out in the right mind set to not get hurt
