Does anyone have any info on the climbing area Mecca in central oregon? I know it is outside of warm springs and probably kinda "hush-hush". But.. What are the logistics? How many routes? or is it worth the drive from Bend? Any info would be appreciated. Tim

The weather is warming up and the sun is out. Looking to get out to smith throughout the winter. As long as its sunny and 40 degrees I am down. Both trad and sport in the 5.10er range. I work a little bit, mostly evenings so days are good. let me know if you are interested.

I will be spending the summer/early fall in the southern oregon area (Illinois valley), and was curious if anyone new any climbing nearby. I am also looking for partners. From what i have seen the closest areas are medford ashland, but was hoping to find a secret gem closer by. If anyone has any insight let me know. thanks 2tent

Hey was thinking of spending this summer in the leavenworth area. Can anyone give me any beta on good jobs. A dishwashing gig is kind of what i had in mind. Just something that leaves the days free. Dinero/hours are important, but next to climbing. Any info would be awesome. Also, info on free showers and free chill "long-term" camping. word

you can try mountainproject.com. There are a lot of CO climbers active on that site. I will be in CO this May/June. If you are out there at that point let me know.

I don't have to work until thurday and would love to meet up and do some climbing during those days. Smith rocks fine works for me. I live south of bend so it takes about an hour to get there..
