Hey all,
I'm looking to get a pair of warm boots (up to 6000m) that will fit my fat hobbit feet. More importantly, though, i'd like a pair that climbs well technically. Has anybody with wide feet tried the ice 9000s and mind commenting on their fit? Right now I have a pair of sportiva's trango extreme evos as my low altitude/warmer weather technical boots, but I still freeze and squeeze my feet because my feet are wide (at the ball section of my feet, kind of a triangular shape almost) and I always have to wear thin socks. (I know la sportiva makes some of the narrowest shoes, but the price was right. Stupid decision since boots are one of the main things where you shouldn't skimp on money-wise). Anybody have any suggestions for a wide and warm boot?
