  5. I am looking for a partner or partners to climb the DC route of Mount Rainier. I have experience on Denali, 2 past attempts on Rainier, hood, and some alpine climbs in RMNP. It would be great to find some others who also have experience and is up for leaving paradise on sat morning and leaving muir at midnight on sun morning. Thanks. Chris
  6. This weekend is supposed to be perfect. Anyone interested in doing the hogsback route this Saturday. I was thinking of leaving around Friday at midnight. Should be starry skies. I have mountaineering experience, WFR, and avalanche training. First time on the mountain and looking to meet some climbers to hopefully do other routes in the future. New to Portland Chris

  11. How about June 7th. Leave Timberline lodge at 2-3 am via the hogsback. I am new to portland and have mountaineering experience. It sounds like there is enough interest to have a 4 person rope team.

  13. I am new to Portland looking to find a climbing partner, but would love to do the not so technical route the weekend of the 19th or 20th. I am in good shape and have mountaineering experience. Just want to do the normal route to get a good understanding of a good evac route. Thanks Chris

  15. I am new to portland and have the thanksgiving weekend off. I was planning on going telemark skiing at timberline on the 22nd and if need be until sunday. I know there are only a few runs open but like i said i am new and dont know anyone here. I have just moved here from Alaska and am interested in getting to know the Hood area via ski or crampon.
