We are taking a group up Rainier next weekend (Aug. 25th) and are trying to determine whether to climb the DC route or go up Emmons from Schurman. Does anyone know how much the Emmons climb has been re-routed or how much longer, on average, it's taking parties to summit? Sounds like DC is about an additional 1 hour up. Also, there is some concern about crossing ladders -- anyone know how many ladders are currently set up on each route? Thanks!
