Hi Phill, Are you still at smith? I live in Portland and am down to climb this week (I am waiting to start a job). I used to live in Seattle so I know the Washington places-I LOVE Leavenworth-and am also interested in heading to Canada. I have my own gear and rope. I can lead sport 10as cleanly and can TR the 10s. I have a trad rack my friend gave me last year, though so far I have just practiced placing gear and following trad climbers. Hi, I just moved to Portland and am looking to get some sport climbing in after work or on weekends. My supplies are a vehicle, a tent, two ropes, sport climbing gear, and a donated trad rack (though I would feel safest using it on mixed routes). I can lead 10as cleanly, 10bs and 10cs dirtily. Mount St. Helens Daily Climb- Two permits are available for Sunday, May 20th to climb Mount St. Helens. Permits are $22 apiece. This day for climbing has already sold out, and the Lead Climbing Ranger has confirmed that tickets are transferrable from the original permit holder (myself) with a note giving my name and address.
