I have never climbed in the Cascades. Are my La Sportiva Trango S Evo Goretex boots adequate for moderate routes on Rainier in the summer? If not what would those of you in the know suggest that I try on for fit.

Anybody have the Marmot Pounder Plus synthetic bag? If so, how is it? Weight seems good, I like the fact that it is synthetic, and the price is not bad. I believe it is supposed to be rated at +25 and fairly compressible for a synthetic, so comments are appreciated.
