Hi Mike~ Thanks for getting back to me so soon. Unfortunately I’ll be at work by then, but thanks for the offer. I just got off Hood…perfect conditions! We did the south route (Hogsback) the bergstrund has barley opened…..maybe 10 inches. Both the Pearly Gates and the left shoot have been setting up nicely so if you decide to do the south route you should have a great climb. We didn’t put on crampons until right below the sulfur vent in the bowl below the Hogsback. We were getting perfect purchase with just plastics from the saddle (Illumination) to that point.
