Seattle Vertical World - Membership Coordinator Position Description Responsibilities:  Defining and interpreting company membership policies and procedures in coordination with managers and business owner.  Processing new memberships, including data entry, managing billing, keeping accurate records, and issuing membership cards.  Processing all membership changes, including freezes, cancellations, new account information, etc.  Training and managing staff on all membership procedures and policies, including membership sales.  Maintaining and updating all membership contracts and forms, in coordination with managers.  Maintaining member/prospect database and supervising all data entry and filing procedures.  Handling all customer concerns, questions, problems, and disputes surrounding membership issues and billing using excellent customer service skills.  Generating reports, queries, and mailing lists from the member/prospect database.  Billing Vertical World Team members on a monthly basis.  Evaluate membership sales and growth, and develop plans to stimulate membership sales.  Other general responsibilities, including front desk, belay checks, retail, facility maintenance, and climbing instruction. Desired Qualifications:  Excellent customer service and communication skills, including conflict management skills, and experience dealing with challenging customer situations.  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.  Database experience, including configurations, queries, and reporting.  Ability to work independently.  Experience managing/supervising others.  Current CPR and first-aid certification.  Experience rock climbing, teaching, and instructing in outdoor settings is preferred. Commitment and Compensation:  This is a full time position (30-40 hrs/week). A flexible schedule and availability some weekends and evenings is required.  Pay is dependent on experience. Full Time Program Coordinator - Everett The Program Coordinator must able to think creatively, yet stay within the policy structure of the Vertical World and take advantage of all opportunities that exist in the community we serve. Some of the specific responsibilities include the following but are not limited to. 1. Generating outside contacts for developing program business 2. Works with manager to achieve monthly revenue goals 3. Maintain records and information of all program contacts 4. Acting as liaison with contact person at groups, schools etc. 5. Generate invoices 6. Develop structured contact schedule for groups 7. Community event promotion 8.
