Fair enough. Thanks. It looks like they may be new because no site has customer reviews posted. They are selling them on backcountry.com now and other similar sites and it peaked my interest since i'm in the market for a new softshell. It really wasn't a troll question.

Actually not. I have never posted before, though have been registered close to a year. I don't appreciate the welcome so far though. Let me also say that I do not work in the outdoor industry, or for Carhartt and simply want some opinions on the friekin jacket.

Has anyone tried or have any information on Carhartt soft shells? You can find them for $100 and they look like decent quality without the extra BS you find on other brands' jackets.
