    Climbing Partner for Oct 7,8,9

    Leave Seattle Friday the 7th and return on the 9th. Game for anything the weather allowes, Smith Rocks, Vantage, or alpine route. Have car, gear and kitchen pass, just need easy going and safe partner to climb with b/c of last minute changes. Moderate Trad preferred.

    Ski Mountaineering St Elias Range Alaska May 13-22

    Experienced group of 4 from Seattle and Salt Lake City have put together a guided trip in the Wrangell St Elias Range in Alaska. Need to be in Anchorage early the morning of 13th of May, and we fly out the 22nd. Have room for 1 or 2 more experienced backcountry skiers with solid ski, avalanche and mountaineering skills. Cost approx 4500$ which would basically cover everything except travel to/from Anchorage and beer. More info on the guides website:

    Climbing/Skiing/Etc Families with young kids!!

    You used to climb hard, ski often and travel alot, then along came the kid(s).... You still want to get out, but its much more difficult, but Im sure there are other climbing couples with young kids out there who want to get out and climb, camp, ski etc... Were looking for some other folks who will get together for trips with kids. Its obviously more fun to get together and recreate outdoors with folks with common interests and at a similar phase of life. We have a 3 1/2 year old, who has climbed out east, the alps and locally here. We would get out more if we knew some oher couples with young kids who also wanted to get out and ski, climb etc...

    Not sure what " PM sent" means.... but I got lucky and

    I found some guys climbing along icicle canyon road.

    Looks like your in seattle as well, lets try to connect for one of the upcoming weekends. the taste of ice i got this weekend made me all the more psyched to get out there and find some more.
