Thanks for the replys and pics. I have been up Adams a few times but only from the South and East (S. Spur and Mazama). What about the North Ridge (not NW)? Sounds like a choss as well but easier incase it does have some new snow. I understand I approach from Killen Creek...But then where?
Looking to summit Baker next week but have never been up there. My understanding is that this time of the year the Roman Headwall is all ice. What can I expect as far as degree, length. Is it mixed or all glacier? Any recent conditions would help as well. Thanks
