Hi all,
Hope I have the right chat room for this - apologies if I don't. Just a quick note to remind everyone how important it is to report grizzly bear observations in the North Cascades. As a bear researcher and conservationist I am part of a team that is trying to learn more about these elusive creatures (fewer than 20 remain in this 10,000 square mile North Cascades Ecosystem). There's an easy way to report grizzly bear sightings on our website at:
http://www.bearinfo.org/sighting.htm
There is also some great information about how to tell the difference between a grizzly bear and a black bear at:
http://www.bearinfo.org/id.htm
Thanks all,
Chris
