Thanks for the timely response! I will possibly rethink the route as I am taking a small group with me.

I was wondering if anyone has been past Lake Constance recently to avalanche canyon (I think thats what it's called) and if so, is there any snow left in the canyon? I will be up there early Sept and the info could affect my travel plans. Also, this is my first post...great site, fantastic resource. Thanks!
