Thanks y'all...well the dude at REI suggested another #1 so I got that but now I see your suggestions to get the smaller ones. I'll grab a couple of those next time!
Hi - I'm looking for some advice on adding to my rack - I have 3 tri cams, a full set of nuts, a few hexes, and 2 BD C4s - size 1 and 2. REI has the cams on sale, I'd like to add a couple more, any suggestions on sizes?
Thanks!
Hi! Dropped my ice ax at the base of the Ingalls East Ridge route...I think it landed at the top of the snow gulley just below... It's a green REI ax with a black leash. Not sure what an appropriate reward would be if you find it and haul it out, but I'll think of something!
Thanks!!
We were looking for the same thing earlier this season. After lots of research we ended up with Western mountaineering. Ultralight for me (the lady), and the Alpinlite for my hubby. Alpinlite is a little roomier. Both 20 deg. bags. They're super light and toasty and they zip together easily. We used them on Adams, Baker, Rainer (several times) and we were warm - even on some cold and windy nights. They were spendy but we're happy with them. Got 'em at Pro Mountain sports. Might have ordered via the internet but we needed them quickly and Pro Mtn had the ones we wanted in stock. (I didn't find them much cheaper online anyway...)
Boy I’m scared of heights
This was a bad idea
I should stay at home.
Why do I do this?
Each time I climb I feel sick.
Then I climb again.
Wow I’m way up high
How did this happen again?
What is my problem?
