  1. I'm selling a Mountain Hardwear Archer 2 Backpacking Tent. This sturdy tent has ample room for 2 people and gear. It has served us well, but seen minimal use over the last few years. Still in very good condition. No damage, clean, all is in working order. Sorry I don't have a picture of it setup, I'll try to add some later. For now, learn more about it and see more pictures here: https://www.rei.com/product/830110/mountain-hardwear-archer-2-tent

  2. Selling an MSR Freelite 3 Tent. At 2 lbs. 15. oz. (minimum trail weight), this is one of the lightest 3-person tents on the market. We purchased it for a 3-month bike tour across Europe and it served us great, but has seen little use since then. Still in very good shape. No damage to tent, rainfly or poles. Includes all stuff sacks and stakes that came with it.

Sorry I don't have pictures of it setup. Didn't have time, but I'll try to add some later. For now: see more pictures and learn more about it on REI.com: https://www.rei.com/rei-garage/product/131142/msr-freelite-3-tent

  3. This Black Diamond headlamp features a bright halogen bulb and 4 LEDs so you can choose between long-distance halogen light and battery-saving LED light.

Features a separate battery pack that can be worn over a shoulder or shoved in pocket to keep the batteries warm on really cold days. Operates on 3 AA batteries, included.

Works great. There are a few scratches here and there on the casing, but nothing serious.

  4. Now $175 $150 125!

I'm selling a V.I.O. POV.1 Digital Helmet Camera. It works great and is in very good condition. The only sign of wear is some corrosion on 5 exterior screws on the LCD display unit. I think this is because I used it on a bike ride around Bainbridge Island once and perhaps the moisture caused the corrosion. But have no fear, the unit is completely sealed against water, so the interior electronics are fine.

FYI, this is NOT the high def version of POV helmet cam.

See my ad on Craigslist for complete details and pictures. There are also links to Amazon and B&H Photo where you can read even more about it.

  5. We had a tent malfunction while climbing Mt. Rainier on Sunday 7/8 and my sleeping bag flew away. There's a pretty good chance it ended up somewhere on the lower Inter Glacier, since we were camped at Camp Curtis and we found a couple other items while skiing out.

It's a blue Marmot Helium EQ sleeping bag. I'm really, really hoping someone finds it!!!

We also lost a couple other items:

    - Thermarest Ridgerest foam pad

    - Rite-in-the-Rain journal in a plastic ziplock bag

Please let me know if you spot them. Thanks!

    Joe

  6. Price Dropped to $20!

Pair of lightly used Scarpa Thunder rock shoes for sale. I bought them used 6 months ago and they looked nearly brand new. I've only climbed in them 3 times and just don't like the feel. Still almost new looking. Take them off my hands for $25.

    Size European 44 (US men's 10.5)

  8. Trip: Ingalls Peak - South Ridge

    Date: 5/25/2009

    Trip Report:

Climbed Ingalls Peak on Memorial Day and we had the whole place to ourselves! Imagine that! We post-holed our way to the lake where we camped Sunday night. Waited for the winds to die down before climbing on Monday. Route is snow free except for the first bit on the east side of the ridge at the base of the dog tooth crags. Kick a few steps and scramble a short bit on the west side and you're up there no problem. Saw quite a few snowmobile tracks around and even heard a few zipping around despite the area being off limits. Oh well.

    Approach Notes:

Still lots of snow, but it is melting fast. Bring skis or snowshoes and expect to put them on by about 4,800 to 5,000 ft. We had to park about a 5 min. walk from the trailhead, but the road should be open all the way by now.
