  1. Gently used Feathered Friends Expedition Down Suit for sale. I used the suit to successfully summit Denali a couple years ago, but have since been forced me to scale back my mountaineering ambitions. Here are the specs: Feathered Friends Site Feathered Friends Expeditions Suit Color: Red (See photo, not me, but exactly he same!) Outershell: eVent Size: L (I'm 6'0", 185 lb., but would fit 5'10" to 6'2" easily) Retail: $1150 Asking: $850 firm Absolutely the best in class. Don't let inadequete gear spoil your expedition and all your hard work. Questions? Contact me for additional pictures or info.
  2. Jesus. I take the time to read that well written article concerning something that all mountaineers and backcountry skiers should find relevant and interesting, only to read "Well NO SHIT"? I seriously don't get it. You must be so god damn smart that such trivial matters are like spreading jam on your fuckin toast. Bravo genius. How bout if you don't have anything smart to say, just read it and move on.
  3. I'm slated for a mid-May to mid-June expedition up the West Buttress. I've invested a lot in my gear, making sure I won't get cold. My only shady spot is in footwear. (I know, its the last spot to have shady gear). I have some Scarpa Denali TT's that I bought this year, and plan on skinning up as much of the mountain as I can. Anyone have some feedback on the warmth of such a boot, and perhaps climbing comfort for extended climbs such as high camp to summit?? If I have to I'll buy and pack some Arctis Expe' and overboots, but I'm seriously out of money, so I'm hopeing my AT boots will be sufficient. Thanks
