forgive my ignorance, I've never skied but I really want to start with cross country/back county touring. Most of what I'll be doing is ungroomed trails. Are these skis appropriate for that? Any chance you van use Sportiva leather ice climbing boots in those bindings?

sorry, those are gone too kurt
I love seeing your pics by the way, looks like you're doing what you love

sold, paid, delivered

I was thinking around $325 plus $20 shipping for everything. Pretty cheap if someone is looking to get into the sport.

I'm thinking of selling my gear as a "package" and was wondering if anyone here might be interested. I'll post pictures in a bit.
Petzl Quarks with removable clip leashes
Black Diamond bionic crampons
Several ice screws of different lengths, mostly omega
Black Diamond roll-up ice screw holder
Several screamers
I'd like to sell this as a package so if anyone is interested, let me know. I would also consider a trade for a cross country ski package. (I'm 6' tall and 190lbs)

I may be interested. Pictures? I have a pair of quarks that I was getting ready to sell.

REI pack still available. Thats a great deal for that pack!

Both pairs are sold for sure now

Both pairs of gloves are sold pending payment

Gregory Palisades large volume backpack. I used this twice on Mt. Rainier and that was it. This pack shows virtually no wear. It's the 2007 model size large 5550 cubic inches. New it was $260, I would like $75 plus shipping
here is some specs http://www.rei.com/REI-Outlet/product/769396
REI climbing pack with gear loops and 2 ice axe holders. No tears or areas of wear, just a few dingy dirt spots and 1/2 of the waist buckle is missing (easily replaceable at REI). The axe is there as a comparison for size. $25 plus shipping
Mammut Schoeller and Goretex Gloves. Great for skiing or belaying. These are really nice gloves. They have a removable inner liner. Size large. New they were just over $100, yours for $25 plus shipping
OR Alibi Dry Tooling Gloves. Great for dry tooling due to the sticky palm material. Here's a link for the specs: http://www.campmor.com/outdoor-research-men-s-alibi-ii-gloves.shtml?source=CI
These show VERY little wear. I probably only used them once.
$20 plus shipping

There are overnight parking spots that I've used, and seen many other people use before just off of the Paradise parking lot. With the recent construction I wonder if they're no longer there??

Interested in watch and vest. How much to Spokane?
-
Great pictures. Love all the yellow... Boots, rope, helmet
How do you like those Sportivas?
-
I'd be willing to bet that it's still in great shape. It was kind of a lean year for it but there'd still be plenty to climb. Check out Copper too!

That is much fatter than I thought it would be, nice job.

what grade would you give summer falls Paul?

I've always considered Hyalite as "local" since our resources for ice climbing in Washington are so limited. I think this is the best place to post ANY ice climbing TR.
