i don't know the exact comparison. i think the talus is thinner then the super guide and not so much a shell. correct me if im wrong.

Cloudveil Enclosure Mountain Parka ~ belay jacket, black, size L It is less then a year old and is in excellent condition. There is a pin size tear on the inside of the right sleeve that has been sewn up from, of all things, falling in an icy parking lot. It is unoticeable unless you know where to look.
