In Sept. of about 1999?, P.A.W. and myself hiked the route from Hannegan to Nesakwatch Creek, climbing over Rapid and Pocket Peaks. Four moderate days. Fine area, met no one but bears, including one doing bum slides down a snow bank. We took no rope, and found nothing more difficult then class 3 climbing. 1st camp under false summit of copper Mtn., 2nd camp 1.5 hours from Rapid Peak, 3rd camp in saddle before Pocket Peak, then down into teddy bear infested pocket lake meadows and out through active logging in Nesakwatch Creek.
