Sweet! That's good news and very exciting. I'll be fine on the vertical ice. Will a mountaineering axe do? Or should I carry in a couple of tools? We were planning to wear low cuts to the glacier and carry our boots in. From then on we'll wear boots and cramps until we return to the Glacier Meadows. But then we've never been there before.

When rappelling from the summit, are there natural anchors suitable for webbing and slings or is it already fixed?
