  1. Joey here, new to the forum and have been climbing since a pup.

Im in my early 30's and worked as a Medic in NYC for about 10 yrs, and up at Rainier for a season.

Been up a dozen routes on the mountain, including a few solo's.

In addition, 1 Mckinley summit, out of 3 attempts, 2 Aconcagua, Hood 2, Baker 3, and a few other peaks in the Cascades aswell.

I would never constitute myself as the know it all, and am still in the learning stage as we all are, and am out to make life long friends.

Just wondering if there are some people out there that I can meet up with for some decent/epic routes this coming fall/ winter and leading into next summer.

    Thanks...J

  2. I just happen to be using an MT Hardwear Annapurna which at about 6lbs, its hangin' up there with the Trango's, but I know that i'm very interested in buying an EV2, but havent got the cash yet, so for now all I can do is day dream about it...

But I do agree with Munckee on the Eldorado. Its simple and straight foward, but not much of a family camping tent....lol

  3. Thanks BD... I just can't wait to leave UT cause the heat is drivin' me nuts....But I'll be up on Rainier soon enough playin around again. Now just gotta hook up with more climbers considering that I'm gonna have a permanent spot somewhere near the mountain...

I got to solo a few different routes last summer, but now i think it will be even better becoming a local.

    Thanks again..talk soon

  4. Hi folks, Im new here, and just wanted to introduce myself.

I moved to Washington in 2003 from NYC to work up at MT Rainier as a Medic and loved workin there the whole summer.

Climbed my butt off and then came down to UT for the winter, and skiied my butt off aswell....so now I havent got much of my ol' butt left and am moving back to Washington late summer permanently. So just wanted to say hello and look foward to posting here soon.

  5. I have a few friends that might be have a pair to sell, so I'll check with them....However, I just spent the winter here in Utah as a ski Patroler in Park city's resort and came across a brand new pair of Rossignol Scratch Bc's in the 175 length which I threw a pair of randonee Frischi freerides on for back country, and they were incredible. Light, responsive, and twin tipped aswell....hehe

Well, Im in the market to sell mine for roughly 500 with skins considering that the skiis alone are about 700, and bindings 300. They are in great shape, and if you know anyone whose interested....toss me an email., or call 435-640-1085

  6. OK, as some of you have seen on my recent post......I have failed to mention that I also am looking for a Mountain Hardwear EV2, and perhaps would trade a OR advanced Bivy shelter aswell as an Annapurna, also new for that tent......think about it.
