"So What" by Metallica (Originally recorded by The Anti-Nowhere League). Great live versions available on YouTube.

And Iraq?
-
The sun is OK but I like the angle on the Pi Piller better
-
And let's add this to the debate:
-
Gotta buy more p-tex this year!
-
Keep it steep this year!
-
Damn! That's a stout day from the car. I didn't see anything that looked as hard as WI4, but then again we made a hasty exit to climber's right at mid-height.
-
Hoot hoot, bring a stickclip for the shrund
I tried to climb the thin gully to the right of the Owls couloir once, no dice, there was a hidden waterfall mid height. If it were frozen it would have been nice WI2. We got onto the rock rib on the right side, which looked like nice easy 5th to that schweet snow arete, but my partner was mentally done from almost getting hit by a rock earlier so we bailed.

Cool! I seem to remember someone mentioning a new spur from Hwy 99 near the dirt bike track that would make accessing the area between Moe and Currie easier, not sure if it's built yet?
-
Looks like the east side of Tomyhoi.
Gotta ski that north face one day!
-
Wicked new avatar, Jordon! (Smokey!)

Saw this picture of the Dyke on a hiking website, it was taken this spring (around mid May). Pretty big snow blocks, lots of creepage.
-
I agree with the ranger. But nice pics!
-
Right on! I've seen QB while skiing on the Homathko but haven't touched it (yet). That summit cornice/serac is intense when viewed from the North!
-
Can one do Jack in a day? Seems pretty remote...

I would suggest that as rock climbing becomes more and more popular, the "medium" grade is going down. When was the last time you lined up to get on a 5.13?
I would say the average climber leads 5.9 to 5.10-, with relatively few leading 5.13 and up compared to the masses of 5.7/8 leaders.
Agreed. I'd say the average alpine grade is thus "mid-fifth" given the increasing number of people in the mountains over the years.
-
I like skiing. No grades to worry about. Just turns!
-
True, but a gentlemen always wears his best outfit for leisure activities.
-
Word. No bugs there!

Why did I post that twice?!?
If you're new to the show, it gets better. In season 4 there's an episode where Bubbles befriends a mountain lion that's addicted to pot because it's been living in one of their dope plantations.
-
Oly, wait until you get into Season 3 when they kidnap Alex Lifeson from Rush. That is freak'n hilarious.
That's my fravourite episode of all.
"Is that what it's really like living in Canada?" As Bubbles says, does the tin man have a sheet metal cock?!?
Gotta go, Grade 11 is stressing me out, it's way fucking harder than grade 10.

I think the bluff in question is below the N Face of Ledge in the picture below, not mine but widely available:
Van Halen......you decide.

Got my tickets for the Vancouver show Dec 5th! Row 5 in the lower bowl, right in front of the stage. Hopefully they can stay together and Dave's voice will not crap out before then. Mabye Alex has some new material for his solo but I doubt it.
