I am hoping to climb Mt Rainier this next season so I have been in the market for some good boots. I found a great deal on Salomon Super Mountain 9 snow and ice. I was wondering if this would be a good boot for this mountain?

I recently bought a pair of Salomon Super Mountain 9 Snow and Ice boots. I was wondering if I will be able to use them as a general alpine mountaineering boots or are they too stiff for that type of use. If anyone has any ideas i would appreciate the help. Peace Nick
