Does anyone know about the conditions of the moat for accessing the N. Face of Vesper?

Has anyone done this traverse or have a good description of how to do it? ....I've tried 3 times now (twice in bad weather) and have been thwarted every time? The Olympics Climbing Guide book is pretty vague. Thanks - CR
