I saw a novel way of dealing with this nonsense last year. Someone had a letter to the authorities on the inside of their windshield, basically reading them the riot act for the whole program. Lots of stuff like "shame on you" etc. A fun trailhead read. Fee demo? I "demo" my opposition by not paying and they can go pound sand.

We went up anyway for a look on Tuesday, didn't even get out of Source Lk basin. Snow was deep and heavy, visibility sucked and there were no other skiers breaking trail for us. Damn! Some other time. We ended up in Snoqualmie, doing what comes naturally after bailing:
