  1. We left Pole Creek TH at 3:10am Friday morning Aug. 29- to get to the SE Ridge of the N. Sister. The traverse on the N. Sister was snow free and was easily crossed. We reached the summit at 7am. We descended down to the col between N. and M. Sisters and then reached the summit of M. Sister at around 8:45. We descended down to the Chamber Lakes. The descent was brutal. Very little snow - but the little snow was still slick at that time in the morning. We rested at Chamber Lakes for about an half an hour. We then headed up the n. face of the S. Sister. We reached the top of the S. Sister around 1pm. The ascent was tiring and time consuming. Thank God for the hammer gel. Conditions on the N. Face of the S. Sister were rather good - except for the scree. There again was no snow. And the little traverse that one makes was rather uneventful. We then descended down to Green Lakes area and rested awhile and got some water. Then we headed up to Broken Top. We reached the summit of Broken Top at around 5:30. Descending out to the Green Lakes TH seemed like it took for ever. We reached the TH at around 7:15pm and taking a short break. We reached the parking lot at Sunrise Lodge around 9:15pm. My buddy and I were hoping to run the entire way up the Cascade Lakes Highway but that didn't happen - hence the time it took us to get to bacelor. We summited Bachelor at 10:42pm (our turn around time was 10:45). We descended by one headlamp at made it to a car were a friend was waiting at 12:08am. The reason for the turn around time was that my buddy is an ER doc and had to be at work at 7am. A great adventure. We brought but didn't use our crampons or ice axes. We only wore running shoes - however the soles of our feet were a little sore by the end. Good luck to others who want to do the same.
  2. That's right...21hours! If you don't think we did it....... well then that's your problem. I don't need a photo to let you know that we climbed each. We know that we've done it and are proud of what we did. To be honest, we could have done it faster........
  3. Does some one know of anyone that has climbed the North, Middle, & South Sisters along with Broken Top and Mt. Bachelor all in a day. A buddy and I climbed all in 21hrs (this included no tranportation support from the Green Lakes Trailhead to Mt. Bachelor). Thanks!
