Gunk holing: the boatman's term for cruising in sheltered waters and anchoring every night. The best place I have seen in the Northwest so far is San Juan islands.

European fun & reliable climber seeking fun & reliable partners for weekend trips to Smith Rock and other local areas. Relatively new to the Salem area, so would like to get to know people who have similar interests. Have full rack. Would like to get into aid climbing and also do a bunch more of the multi-pitch routes. Used to be able to lead 5.10's and follow 5.12's, but now can only lead 5.8's and follow 5.11's until I get back into good shape. Other interests include skin/static/scuba diving, boating, wilderness camping, photography, and chess. I just came across this web site, so I am very curious to see how this will go...
