  1. If anybody wants to hook up to do some backcountry skiing this winter, even places that are way back there (I just got a snowmobile) or climbing, give me a call or email. Preferably looking for experienced skiers or boarders with gear to skin up once we get in there. my sled should be able to carry two and pull a third person, and we may be getting another sled. I would also be totally psyched to climb some ice or alpine routes.

Ive got a fair amount of alpine experience and all the gear.

If interested give me a call at 509 304 7014 or email at scott1208@yahoo.com.

I live in Cle Elum and just moved back up here so dont have any partners yet, but am really hoping to ski a ton this winter if we get some good snow.

    Thanks, Scott

  2. How about putting an avalanche tranceiver in the cache if its only going to be a couple days between when its dropped and when you are picking it up? It snows alot up there in the spring. Also, White Saddle has an airplane which would be way less $$$ than his helicopter. Their # is 250-476-1182.

"This place is so sick it needs to go to the doctor." quote from the Plummer hut logbook.

  3. I have a 95 with that engine, mines a 4x4 tacoma w/ extra cab. ive got about 160 k on it and bought it 4 years ago with 64k on it for 13500. its a great truck, 95 is the year they redid the engines and came out with all the other models of trucks i believe. no problems with my leaf springs and have had it pretty loaded a couple times. no trouble so far w/ timing chain. my starter and air conditioning condenser went out, i think thats the only problems. i think i could get 250k out of it based on how well it still runs, uses no oil, same mileage as 100k ago.

  4. on sunday, the front half of my black diamond sabertooth crampon fell off while on the first pitch of the n. face couloir on buckner, on the left side of the couloir in the moat, about 50 feet from the base. if anybody happens to find that, i'd be really appreciative and give you a 6 pack of your choice. email: scott1208@yahoo.com or call 425 241 4935

    thanks, scott
