  1. David, Try looking for schoeller pants from Patagonia, BD, and Arc'Teryx. I have a pair from Patagonia called the stretch guide pant. I like them but my only complaint is they have weak elastic in the waist. My brother owns the Arc'Teryx pants and he has the same problem I do with the waist/belt. I put suspenders on mine an it help, but I think that could be avoided with better desighn. Hope that helps John
  2. Same goes for you Erik jah
  3. Mountainguy01, I don't think we have meet. I'm a student here at WWU and spend some time climbing. Stop by the Outdoor Center some time to chat. I work Mon-Thur 3-4:30. John Schaefer
  4. I've been there. The rock is something like Fossil and the routes have seen very little traffic. The one time I went I spent 2 hours driving around trying to find out how to get there, then an hour trying not to get hit in the head by a stray golf ball as I snuck from fairway to fairway. 30 min's latter and some of the worst bush-wacking I've ever done threw nettles and I stood under a pile of s#*t. Within 30 min's it started to rain and we found the real "trail" out. I haven't been back. If you go watch out for the golf coarse staff. It's trespassing and they don't like climbers. Have fun... John
  5. Underneath middle and north? Is that on the east side of middle? I think I remember a smooth slab there but I'm not sure. Any more info?
  6. Freak, Please don't clip your self into gear on a dasiy. Falling onto a daisy is about the fast way to break a back I know. If you have to, put a screamer on it first. But that means two pieces of gear you don't need. Use a biner and the rope to forgo the daisy at ankers. John
  7. mattp, First let me say thank you for all the work you have done to round up info. This all started with my trail park pass (which I didn't want to buy but I felt I little choice when taking clients to the trail head in my truck). I'm currently in the proccess of writing my complaint and the info you have provided saved me some run around. Dr. J I'm sorry that you ended up with the ticket. If I can be of any help let me know. Dave don't worry about taking off. I would have done the same in your shoes. This event has left me with alot of anger and as I told my friend about it I would offten conclude by saying that I wanted officer dickhead to loose his badge and his children to starve. Well I don't think these thing will acure but I'm not going to stop being a thorne in the side of the system. p.s. I'm not parking in that parking lot ever again. John
