Sheep Posted February 22, 2009 Share Posted February 22, 2009 (edited) Trip: Mt Hood - Old Chute Date: 2/20/2009 Trip Report: Conditions could not have been better, temp was around 20-25 degrees up top and did not experience any icefall, didnt bother with the proper summit only gaining the ridge at around 8am, last year the ridge was a piece of cake. snow was somewhat consolidated with a layer of rime ice underneath, things softened up on the way down for an easy descent Gear Notes: hat girlfriend made me for valentines day ridiculously warm down jacket etc..
