Great snow pack and beautiful weather but I'm not familiar with the route to Edward's summit. Am an experienced backpacker, ok with gauging snow conditions, can self-arrest, and am told I'm pretty good company Will take care of driving and dinner and ice cream to show my appreciation for a guide who will help me check this climb off my bucket list!! Last I heard some parties were encountering difficulties on a large cornice at the top of the south couloir. Don't know what the status of that cornice is.
