scurry
Going up there Sunday (8/16/15) anybody know what the water situation is? Thanks!
JasonG
No flowing water on the Cascadian, or west ridge, but there is a bit of snow below the true and false summits that you could melt. At least I think it should still be there.
ilias
Water seems to be getting pretty low all over the cascades. Don't expect any running water from the time you leave Ingalls Lake until you summit and then descend back down to Ingalls Creek. Â The small snowfield by the false summit at the top of the Cascadian should still be there. When we were there on Aug 2, there was a tiny trickle of water flowing from this snowfield that you could get at without melting snow, but that probably depends a lot on temperature and time of day. edaskren
was just there this last Thursday 8/13 - got water from the snow patch under the summit on descent -- it was trickling, we made a pool and pumped a few liters.
