WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

SOLD: Cilo Gear 45L Worksack, Medium

Recommended Posts

Seriously, though... what didn't you like about it? I absolutely hated my 45l worksack.... I loved it, and hated it all at once. The last straw was that the framesheet was too tall and would catch the back of my helmet, so I couldn't look up higher than about 10' above me while climbing, and with almost as much difficulty belaying. I was gonna cut it down in attempt too relieve the helmet, but along with my other complaints (mostly that you couldn't manipulate the bitchy little straps with gloves on), I just decided to sell.

And I only got like $80 for it... bought new for full retail ($250 or something?). Fuckin' Cilo. And their customer service is fucking horrible.

BUT... I wonder if I wouldn't have had the framesheet problem if I'd gotten a smaller size... was kinda thinking about trying yours (mine was L). Like an idiot returning to stupidity.

I've found the 40B is the perfect size ... Eliminates the helmet issue and still holds enough for a five day alpine trip. love it.
