underasail Posted July 24, 2015 Share Posted July 24, 2015 I am looking to plan a trip through the Ptarmigan Traverse in June or July of next year. I will be going with two other people, and all of us will be 19. This presents a problem in that we won't really have the money to rent a car for that long with the added fees for renting under 25 (and we certainly don't want to rent two). Can anyone provide some advice as to how to get to and from the PT from the Seattle airport? I know hitchhiking has been an option for some, but I would prefer a more sure form of transport. It had been suggested that we might be able to team up with other people in the area to climb if this works out that could be nice. If there happens to be someone willing to take and pick us up, that would be incredibly helpful and compensation could most certainly be arranged.
